Hewitt Group makes investments in public funds, in long-term private companies, and in real estate.  To ensure a formal and thorough thought process and due diligence is respected, Hewitt Group established committees to oversee this process.

Russell is the recently retired President and Chief Executive Officer of the CN Investment Division. In this role, he was accountable for all aspects of the management and organisational oversight of the CN Pension Trust Funds, one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. He was Chairman of the pension fund’s two wholly-owned oil and gas exploration and development operating subsidiaries and is past Chairman of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC).

He is a member of the Nunavut Trust Investment Advisory Board, a member of the board of directors of Valeura Energy and a governor of the University of Waterloo.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo, a Master’s degree in economics from Western University and an MBA from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Corporate Director.

WILLIAM HEALY

Bill Healy is an investment professional, corporate director, and strategic advisor. He serves as an Investment Committee member for family offices, providing oversight on investment policy design, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and manager selection. With over 35 years of experience in investment counseling and portfolio management, he has invested extensively in both public and private markets.
Bill has held senior roles throughout his career, including serving as a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant and as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Experience Officer at Portfolio HiWay. He also co-founded Patrimonica Asset Management Inc., the investment arm of a multi-family office based in Montréal, where he was President and Chief Investment Officer. Previously, he was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at TAL Private Management Inc. and McLean Budden Ltd., managing portfolios for wealthy families, family offices, foundations, endowments and corporate pension plans.


Bill holds a BComm in Finance from Concordia University and an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of London. He is a CFA charter holder and has been actively involved with the Kenneth Woods Portfolio Management Program at Concordia’s John Molson School of Business since its inception in 2000.

OFER DRUCKER

Ofer is the Vice-President of Investments and Asset Management at the Azrieli Foundation, overseeing the Foundation’s portfolio of managed marketable securities and private placement investment accounts. He is an asset allocator, focused on capital preservation and value creation by investing in well-diversified, balanced portfolios of various asset classes.

In addition, Ofer has over twenty years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate.  In collaboration with the Foundation’s real estate team, Ofer oversees office, industrial, retail & hotel properties, with responsibilities to drive bottom-line profitability growth, increase asset value, ensure positive cash-flow, and meets financial targets.

Ofer graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Art in Business Administration from the American College in London, UK, and a Master of Business Administration from Western International University in London, UK. He has also completed various professional courses and designations that includes: Portfolio Theory, Asset Allocation and Performance Measurement from the Canadian Securities Institute, Fundamentals of Alternative Investments from the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association, Investment Foundation from the CFA Institute of Canada, and Effective Leadership from McGill University Executive Institute.

Over the years Ofer has served on the Boards of the Jewish National Fund, ORT Canada, Canadian Associates of Ben-Gurion University, and the Israel Cancer Research Fund.
